Please take a moment and turn up your speakers. Close your eyes
and listen to the words. Open your heart and mind and thank the
Lord for such a wonderful gift and message through music.

We live in a world where perversion and sin are entitled as “Freedom
of Speech” yet stating the name of God in the Pledge of Allegiance
is forbidden and considered an infringement upon the rights of
others.

We are in the midst of a war my friends. Not one of guns. Not related
to 9-11 or Afghanistan and Iraq. For that is the war without. I speak
of the war within. Our very souls and lives hang in the balance. We
are surrounded by those who have not yet come to know our Lord,
Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.

Are you feeling angry or shaking your head in disbelief? Please stop
again and ask the Lord for his forgiveness and pray that His
patience and understanding will guide you.

Know this fact, we have been commissioned by Jesus Christ, Son of
God, our Lord and Savior to go forth and share His message.

Yet, how does one go forth into a world full of cynics who state that
we are imposing our beliefs upon them.

How does one approach someone who is convinced they are saved
by rite of Baptism and who continue to live their lives in sin? There
are those who have not set foot in a church in years and who do not
embrace the Lord in prayer daily.

What can we do? We are but a few.

Are we willing to do the Lord’s work? Will we allow ourselves to be
ridiculed, ostracized and feel threatened by those to whom we are
attempting to show the greatest gift ever given? How can one do
such mighty things and discuss openly their faith without fear of their
peers?

How can we do this on our own?

Stop! On our own? We are never, nor have we ever, been on our
own. Be strong in knowing the Lord is with you; to guide and protect
those who serve Him!

Prepare yourself with the Armor and Weapons he has set forth for
us. Know that anything physical or verbal set forth at us in this world
of ours is nothing compared to what we will have to answer for
should we sit idly by and not fulfill his commission.

Put on The Breastplate of Righteousness!

Push forth holding the Shield of Faith!

Fasten tightly the Helmet of Salvation!

Arm yourself with The Sword of the Spirit!

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his
might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be
able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having
on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to
quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which
is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all
saints;
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open
my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak
boldly, as I ought to speak.
But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a
beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known
to you all things:
Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might
know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.
Amen.”

- Ephesians Chapter 6 Verses 10-24

In the days in which these words were written, one’s very life would
be forfeit at the mere mention. Yet these men of Faith realized that
there was much more at stake than their physical lives here on
Earth.

We too must learn to walk as they did. Without fear or anger and
treat those who stand in our way with love and kindness. To learn
more about how you can make a difference, please consult
Pastor
Ryan Reveley or your Pastor, Reverend or Minister.

Thank you for reading and God Bless you as you go forth today.
