About Matthews Memorial Church

Vision for Matthews Memorial Church

Matthews Memorial Church is a church that is called to love God and others, enters to praise Him, encourages each other to grow in their relationship with Christ, and departs to proclaim what Christ has done for us.

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe in One God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. We believe Jesus existed as a man who was born of a virgin and as the Son of God. We believe he lived on this earth to die on the cross, sacrificing himself for us so that we may have salvation through him alone if we believe and follow him. We believe that he rose from dead on the third day after his death, conquering the power of death.
  3. We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and He is fully God as well. We believe he dwells inside of all who follow Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
  4. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and contains no errors or contradictions.
  5. We believe that all things were created by God in six literal days.
  6. We believe that true salvation comes through Jesus alone by turning from our sins, embracing him as Savior, and living for him in joyful obedience.
  7. We believe in the Resurrection of the dead in the last days.
  8. We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
  9. We believe in the future judgment of those who believed in Christ and those who did not. Those who believed will enter eternal life with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and those who did not believe will enter eternal punishment for the sins they did not repent of while on earth.
  10. We believe in the Church as the Body of Christ, meaning it is composed of all who believe in Jesus Christ.

About The Pastor

Hi! My name is Ryan Reveley and this is my wife, Allie. I am the pastor of Matthews Memorial Church. We moved to Massachusetts in June of 2005 from Tampa, FL., where we were working on starting a church in the area. We were married on June 5, 2004 in Wisconsin where Allie is from.

Allie and I are not native New Englanders, but we have grown to love it here, especially Boston and the Red Sox!. She is originally from Wisconsin and I am from Arkansas. She graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in speech communications in 2004. I graduated from Lyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2000. Allie is an avid and talented scrapbooker while I am a comic book and baseball nut. I'm sure I will come to love the Red Sox, but I grew up an Atlanta Braves fan.

Our family has grown since moving here five years ago. We are now the proud parents of two sons, Caedmon Brooker and Shepherd Thomas. Shepherd was born October 2010 and we are so blessed by this addition to our family.

We are looking forward to see what God is going to do through Matthews Memorial Church in the coming months and years. I pray that Matthews Memorial can be a place for you and your family.

In Him,
Ryan and Allie Reveley and family
